PROFILE:

This small, tiny-hoofed antelope moves with great agility over the mountainous terrain it inhabits. Its thick hair lies like a mat against its skin to cushion the animal against bumps and bruises in its rocky environment. Klipspringers walk and stand on rounded hooves and are able to land with all four feet onto a mountainous outcrop the size of a silver dollar.
