You may notice some empty bird and pig/hog habitats, as well as altered programming, as we take precautions for the time being to protect our animals against cases of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) that has been reported within 50 miles. Camps for Every Season

April-August

Spring and Summer

During the Spring and Summertime, campers can enjoy a full day at the Zoo through outdoor exploration, educational adventures, age-appropriate fun, and opportunities to learn about our animal families.

October-January

Fall and Winter

When school is out during the Winter Break, parents can bring their young campers to the Zoo to experience weather appropriate activities, including projects and games, educational tours, and animal encounters.

Single Day Camps

Fall Weekend Camps

Dates: Oct. 14, 15, 28, 29, Nov. 11, 12

Time: 8:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m.

Cost: $55 per child / $50 for Dallas Zoo Members

Weekend day camps encourage exploration, education, and empathy for wildlife and nature. Each camp day is a new adventure! Register for one day or multiple days.

Thanksgiving Break Camp

Dates: Nov. 20-22

Time: 9 a.m.-3 p.m., with an AfterCamp option until 5 p.m.

Cost: $190 per child / $170 for Dallas Zoo Members

Holiday campers can spend part of their Thanksgiving break learning about wildlife and nature while exploring the Zoo. Every day offers a new wild adventure!

Winter Break Camp

Dates: Dec. 27-29, Jan. 2-5, Jan. 8

Time: 9 a.m.-3 p.m., with an AfterCamp option until 5 p.m.

Cost: Varies by date

Camps feature educational tours, games, creative projects, close-up animal encounters, and more. Campers will be grouped by grade level and led through the Zoo in small groups by Zoo Guides.  Campers should provide their own sack lunch and a refillable water bottle.

Cancellation & Refund Policy
All camp sales are final. No refunds will be given for cancelled camp reservations or camp withdrawals. An education program credit may be issued based on circumstance. Credit will not be issued for cancellations made within 48 hours of start date or for no-shows. All programs will take place rain or shine. The Dallas Zoo reserves the right to cancel or change any program for reasons we deem appropriate. In the event that we cancel your program, a credit will be issued and individuals will be contacted directly.
