Wild Adventures Camps

All staff members and campers are required to wear masks throughout the camp.

Social distancing guidelines will be observed.

Camp activities will be held mostly outdoors.

Camp groups are limited to 10 kids per class.
Wild Adventure Camps are for students in grades K-5 as noted.
Day Camps
Spring Saturdays
Dates: Select Saturdays in April and May
Time: 8:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
Cost: $55 per child/$50 for Dallas Zoo Members
A new camp offering this year! Saturday Camps, like our other seasonal camps, encourage exploration, education, and empathy for wildlife and nature. Each camp will explore a new theme – join us for one or multiple days! Read through our COVID-19 protocols here.
summer camps
Dates: Weeklong camps June 7 – Aug. 13, 2021
Time: 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. daily
Cost: $278-300 per child/$250-270 for Dallas Zoo Members
Weeklong summer camps feature educational tours, games, creative projects, close-up animal encounters, and more. Campers will be grouped by grade level and led through the Zoo in small groups by Zoo Guides. Three themes to choose from! Read through our COVID-19 protocols here.
Zoolympics (Grades K-5)
Explore how animals excel in the wild! Campers will also delve into the cultures of the lands from which our animals come: Asia, South America, Africa, and North America. Campers will also take part in “Zoolympic-Style Games.”
Beauties & Beasts (Grades K-3)
Spend the week discovering both the beautiful and the beastly qualities of Dallas Zoo’s unique and diverse residents.
Keeper Camp (Grades 4-5)
Learn what it takes to be a zoologist! Campers will provide animal enrichment and hear from our zoologists about the dynamics of animal husbandry and training.

Before camp and after camp care are not available. All camp participants must be completely toilet trained (meaning not wearing pull-ups, able to manage his/her own clothing, and not requiring assistance in the bathroom).
Cancellation & Refund Policy
All camp sales are final. No refunds will be given for cancelled camp reservations or camp withdrawals. An education program credit may be issued based on circumstance. Credit will not be issued for cancellations made within 48 hours of start date or for no-shows. All programs will take place rain or shine. The Dallas Zoo reserves the right to cancel or change any program for reasons we deem appropriate. In the event that we cancel your program, a credit will be issued and individuals will be contacted directly.
