Prime Meridian Cafe

The Prime Meridian Café is in the heart of ZooNorth, next to the The Grove. This café includes ample indoor seating, with tables on an outdoor deck that overlooks the flamingo pond. Food options include sandwiches, salads, burgers, pizza, and more. Don’t forget to pick up a reusable conservation cup featuring zoo animals and facts — it can be refilled for a discount at many Zoo restaurants! Eaters with dietary restrictions will find:

  • Low-carb options
  • Vegetarian options
Serengeti Grill

Serengeti Grill

Gourmet burgers, kids’ meals, salads & chicken sandwiches. Eat with the lions in The Gregg Hudson Giants of the Savanna! Peer into the lions’ den through the floor-to-ceiling observation window while you’re dining on gourmet burgers and fries. An outdoor seating area overlooks the elephants in Giants of the Savanna.

Snack Stands

We have several snack stands, including Kilimanjaro Kones and Sweet Treats, where you can buy a variety of food and beverage items, including ice cream, pretzels, Dippin’ Dots, cotton candy, popcorn, sodas, beer, and more!

Safari Marketplace

Safari Marketplace, located in the Wilds of Africa Plaza, is now permanently closed. A new indoor/outdoor cafe will be available when we open African Shorelines area after construction.

Gift Shop

Take a piece of the Zoo home with you! Our Gift Shop is your one-stop destination for unique Zoo souvenirs, including plush animals, apparel, and keepsakes to commemorate your visit. Explore our collection of sustainable items, like Zoo Poo, an eco-friendly compost that can help enrich your soil. Each purchase helps our conservation efforts. Stop by on your next visit to find treasures to take home and support sustainability practices.

Other Options

  • Food truck: Located on The Grove in ZooNorth, Craft Fine Food Truck offers delicious grab-and-go bites.
  • Pack a Picnic: You may bring your own food and drinks to the Zoo. However, glass items, alcoholic beverages, and lightweight single-use straws are not permitted for the safety of our animals. Picnic tables and benches are available throughout the Zoo, but please note that there are no facilities for food or cooler storage.
