Back to School Weekend is Presented by MedExpress

Help us give back, and we’ll give back to you! Bring new, unopened school supplies to our front gates to donate, and enjoy a day at the Zoo for just $6. The supplies will benefit schools right here in Oak Cliff. Teachers, present your teacher IDs and get the discount, no donation required.

Psssst…Tax Free Weekend is August 9-10! Pick up a few extra items while you’re shopping to give back to those in need.

Additional activities this weekend will include:

• Bounces houses at Cat Green
• Teacher’s Lounge at Camp Okapi with refreshments (for those with valid teacher IDs only)
• MedExpress booth in ZooNorth at the Grove
  • Teddy Bear Clinic: Bring your stuffed animals in for a “check-up,” and learn all about FirstAid (*Note, we will not be repairing stuffed animals.)
  • Build Your Own First-Aid Kit: Create your own first-aid kit to take home with you (and create one to donate to the school supply drive too!)

$6 admission per person with a school supply donation only. Each person in your group must donate at least one item. Please see the list below for most requested items. Offer not valid without a school supply donation. Children 2 and under and Dallas Zoo Members receive free admission.
