The Bishop Arts Theatre Center and ALW Entertainment have partnered with the Dallas Zoo for an evening of wild entertainment and live music. Grab your lawn chairs and get your tickets to enjoy an evening of jazz under the stars at the Dallas Zoo!

Celebrate Grandparents and our senior animals who inspire us every day at Grandparents Day, Presented by Humana! Get up to two FREE senior tickets with the purchase of one general admission ticket. It’s our way of saying thank you to the seniors in our lives! This day of celebration and family fun is designed for all ages — celebrate, explore, and connect with wildlife.

- Parking: $14 | FREE for Dallas Zoo members
Activities:
- Participate in the Senior Animal Scavenger Hunt to learn how we care for our senior animals.
- Cool off at the Humana Hydration Station to the right of the Endangered Species Carousel, near the lemur habitat.

Celebrate our senior community at the Zoo! Join us for Senior Sundays, Presented by Humana — every Sunday in September. Get up to two FREE senior admission tickets with the purchase of one general admission ticket, plus enjoy exciting activities and activations that highlight our senior-aged animals.

The wildest outdoor concert series
Safari Nights is back at your Dallas Zoo, bringing you the wildest concert series for the whole family. Spend the day exploring the Zoo, then stay late for live cover bands, family-friendly activities, and up-close animal encounters. Included with your general Zoo admission!

- Every Saturday evening:
- September 5 – Reputation (Taylor Swift Tribute)
- September 12 – The Coppertones (Motown Tribute)
- September 19 – Hard Night’s Day (The Beatles Tribute)
- September 26 – Bidi Bidi Banda (Selena Tribute)
- October 3 – Topanga (’90s Hits)
schedule:
- 4:30 p.m. – Event Begins with Keeper Chats and Animal Ambassador Presentations
- 7 p.m. – Live Music Starts
- 9 p.m. – Zoo Closes
Good to know:
- Some animals will be off-habitat starting at 5 p.m. Arrive earlier to make sure you see them before the evening of music and fun begins!
- You can bring blankets, lawn chairs, outside food, and non-alcoholic drinks.
- Alcohol, glass bottles, and disposable straws are NOT allowed.
- Enjoy a variety of specialty food, sweet treats, and beverages—all available for purchase!
Upgrade your night with these add-ons:
- Adirondack chair rental: $5
- Private cabanas: $200 for public | $180 for members
