Parking is limited
- Parking at the Zoo is $14 per vehicle (free for members). Parking must be purchased at the ticket booths, as advance parking will not be available online for Dollar Days.
- When you arrive, please proceed to the main entrance parking lot, where Zoo staff will direct you to the appropriate parking area.

Drinks and snacks
- We’ll have $1–$4 deals on select snacks and beverages, including hot dogs, popcorn, ice cream, canned drinks, and more!
- Guests may bring their own food and drinks, although glass items, alcoholic beverages, and single-use disposable straws are not permitted.
Prepare for the weather
- We host these days in the summer so the kids are out of school and families can enjoy — but summer usually means HOT weather!
- Don’t forget to pack your sunscreen and bring your favorite refillable water bottle to stay hydrated throughout the day. There are water refill stations located within the Zoo for your use.
Prepare for crowds
- Dollar Days are some of our busiest days of the year as we welcome guests from near and far. With that in mind, we kindly ask for your patience as lines and areas across the Zoo may be busier than usual.
Questions
- If you have a question or need assistance, look for a uniformed staffer and ask for help. We’re here to make sure you have the best Dollar Day!
