We offer two distinctly fascinating guided tours designed to enhance your curriculum and inspire animal lovers of all ages!  Both programs are TEKS-aligned and led by our very own Dallas Zoo instructors!

Guided Tour:  African Safari
Grades: K – 12th
Length:  60 minutes

What does it take to survive on the savanna?  Explore the Savanna with an interactive, instructor-led tour.  Discover the specialized adaptations of the animals who call the Dallas Zoo’s Giants of the Savanna home.

Cost:  $180/program (1- 20 students). $9.00/ additional student (max 30 students per program). Price includes Zoo admission. You receive 1 free adult per 10 students. Additional adults are $5 each.


Guided Tour:  Destination Conservation
Grades:  K-12th
Length:  60 minutes

Participate in an interactive, instructor led tour to learn about local and worldwide conservation.  What does it mean to be endangered?  How do wildlife biologists know when an animal needs additional protection, and how do we protect that animal?  What is the role of a zoo in conservation?  Students will explore the answers to these and more questions, while learning about the endangered species that call the Dallas Zoo home.

Cost:  $180/program (1- 20 students). $9.00/ additional student (max 30 students per program). Price includes Zoo admission. You receive 1 free adult per 10 students. Additional adults are $5 each.
