WildLife Heroes Club

Dates: Sundays, 2/12-4/2 (Except 3/12 & 3/19)

Time: 9 a.m.-10:30 a.m.

Cost: $170 per child/$150 for Dallas Zoo Members

Children (3 to 8 years) and their parents will meet once a week on Sundays for 6 weeks to forge a connection with nature and each other. Zoo habitat observations, close-up animal interactions, hands-on illustrative activities, and conservation-related take-home journals provide opportunities for young children and their adults to share family-based experiences facilitated by our staff that build environmental consciousness while collaborating with others who share their interests.

Stroller Buddies

Dates: Every Wednesday 2/8-3/29 (Except 3/8 & 3/15)
OR Every Saturday 2/11-4/1 (Except 3/11 & 3/18)

Time: 9 a.m.-10:30 a.m.

Cost: $170 per child/$150 for Dallas Zoo Members

Toddlers (10 months to 35 months) and their caregivers will love this 6-week program designed to strengthen their attachment to one another while taking their first steps to connect and learn about nature. Options are Wednesdays or Saturdays for your adventure.

3 to 5 years

Friday Safari

Dates: 2/10-5/12 (except 3/17)

Time: 9 a.m.-2 p.m.

Cost: $500 per child/$450 for Dallas Zoo Members

Preschoolers (3 to 5 years) are welcome to this drop-off program. Each Friday for 13 weeks, preschoolers can explore the Zoo with our instructors and learn about the world around them through stories, observations, animal interactions, and play.

Thursday Safari

Dates: 2/9-5/11 (except 3/16)

Time: 9 a.m.-2 p.m.

Cost: $500 per child/$450 for Dallas Zoo Members

School-aged learners (5 to 8 years) are welcome each Thursday to this drop-off program.  Animal visits, observations, and stories will inspire exploration of concepts through art, STEM activities, active games, and conservation activities.

Education program participants in drop-off programs must be completely toilet trained (meaning not wearing pull-ups, able to manage his/her own clothing, and not requiring assistance in the bathroom).      

Cancellation & Refund Policy
All education program sales are final. No refunds will be given for cancelled reservations or withdrawals. An education program credit may be issued based on circumstance. Credit will not be issued for cancellations made within 48 hours of start date or for no-shows. All programs will take place rain or shine. The Dallas Zoo reserves the right to cancel or change any program for reasons we deem appropriate. In the event that we cancel your program, a credit will be issued and individuals will be contacted directly.
