PROFILE:

A bald head gives the vulturine guineafowl a striking resemblance to its namesake, the vulture! These birds have brilliant, bright royal blue feathers, but did you know their feathers are not really blue? Blue feathers are an optical illusion (including blue jays and bluebirds!).
