Spring at the Zoo
Use our guide to find helpful tips and make the most of your visit this spring.
TICKETS AND Arrival
Purchase your tickets online and in advance and be sure to plan your arrival during the entry timeslot indicated on your tickets. This will help regulate lines and control traffic flow at the entry gates.
Parking at the Zoo
Parking is Limited
On busy spring days, Dallas Police may be onsite working with Zoo staff to direct traffic to move guests in and out of lots as quickly as possible. Please follow instructions to assist with the flow of traffic.
Purchase Parking at Admission Booths
On busy days, we may turn off advance sales of parking — don’t be alarmed, you can purchase parking at the admission booths once you arrive at the Zoo. Parking is $14 for public and free for members.
Take the DART
Skip the driving and take the DART Red Line which drops you at a station right across from our front gates. Nearby DART Park & Ride lots, like the 8th & Corinth Station, Hampton Station, or Westmoreland Station, are great options, too!
Navigate the Zoo
Navigate the Dallas Zoo like a pro with our interactive digital map! The map makes it easy to find habitats, Keeper Chats, animal encounters, and more.
Plan Your Day
Make sure to check out the Today at the Zoo board located inside the gates at the front entrance. It’s your guide for special experiences and encounters happening on the day of your visit.
