INTRODUCE KIDS TO ANIMALS AND EDUCATION AT PRESCHOOL AT THE ZOO AND BABY SIGNS®
Feb 6, 2013

Spring Semester Starts February 20. Register today.

Bring the animals in favorite books or shows to life when you enroll your children in Preschool at the Zoo or Baby Signs – Sign, Say & Play® at the Dallas Zoo. The preschool’s interactive curriculum provides a relaxed, fun environment for learning key concepts that children need to know before starting school. Activities include hands-on learning centers, live animal encounters, Zoo exploration time, crafts, snacks, and more. Preschool programs follow early-childhood curriculum guidelines for Texas and the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) and include goals for the Council for Environmental Education. Children develop skills in language, literacy, phonemic awareness, creative arts, problem solving, critical thinking, mathematical skills, scientific thinking and observation, and cooperation and social skills. Baby Signs – Sign, Say & Play® introduces skills to pre-verbal children. Registration is now open.

Students can enroll in a 13-week series of classes or single-day options. Preregistration is required:
