DALLAS ZOO AND K-SKY RADIO DEBUT ANIMALS ON THE AIR RADIO SHOW

Sean Greene, Deputy Zoo Director Education and InterpretivesThe Dallas Zoo and K-SKY’s Animals On The Air radio show debuts live May 12 at 3 p.m. on News Talk 660 K-SKY.  Hosted by Sean Greene, deputy director of the Dallas Zoo, and Dr. Nancy Turner, veterinarian from the Bent Tree Animal Hospital, Animals On The Air streams live over the airwaves every Saturday from 3–4 p.m.  For more information, visit www.AnimalsontheAir.com or www.DallasZoo.com.

The weekly radio show explores the world of wild animals as well as domestic pets. Both Sean and Nancy are passionate animal experts who look forward to sharing their knowledge and experiences every week.  The opening show special guest is wildlife expert Jack Hanna, host of the television shows Into the Wild and Jack Hanna’s Wild Countdown.  Mr. Hanna shares his travels around the world, as well as some memorable tales about his work with animals.  He also will discuss his involvement with the Columbus Zoo and how he brought it to national prominence.  Each week the SPCA of Texas provides families with an opportunity to adopt a pet.

Throughout the show, listeners can call in for the chance to win a Dallas Zoo family four-pack.  Plus, the show is giving away a Mother’s Day spa package for a mom and her pet compliments of Elite Suites Pet Resort in Southlake as well as Rockwall and the Spa On The Square in Southlake.
