TICKETS & ENTRY

Buy your tickets in advance

  • Select your preferred date in our ticket purchase path to get your $1 admission tickets for those days. Remember, you’re looking in the calendar for July 17 and Aug. 5 for our Dollar Days!

Tickets and entry

  • For a smoother entry, please have your tickets ready to scan upon arrival. You’ll find your admission tickets in your email as QR codes, or log in here to view your tickets.

Parking is limited

  • Parking will not be available for purchase online; it must be purchased on-site. Parking is $12.00 (free for members) and will be collected at the ticket booths at the Zoo.
  • Parking at the Zoo is limited, especially on busy days. To make your visit easier, we recommend using the DART Red Line, which drops you off right at the Zoo’s entrance. DART Park & Ride lots are a great option for avoiding traffic and parking delays. Download the parking map here.

IN THE ZOO

Map out your day

  • Use our new digital map to plan your visit — from must-see animals and experiences to snack spots and more. It’s the easiest way to navigate the Zoo and make the most of your adventure.

Drinks and snacks

  • We’ll have $1, $2, and $3 deals on select snacks and beverages, including popcorn, ice cream, canned drinks, and more!
  • Guests may bring their own food and drinks, although glass items, alcoholic beverages, and single-use disposable straws are not permitted.

Prepare for the weather

  • We host these days in the summer so the kids are out of school and families can enjoy — but summer usually means HOT weather!
  • Don’t forget to pack your sunscreen and bring your favorite refillable water bottle to stay hydrated throughout the day. There are water refill stations located within the Zoo for your use.

Prepare for crowds

  • Dollar Days are some of our busiest days of the year as we welcome guests near and far. With that in mind, we kindly ask for your patience as lines and areas across the Zoo may be busier than usual.

Questions

  • If you have a question or need assistance, look for a uniformed staffer and ask for help. We’re here to make sure you have the best Dollar Day!
