From a dig into prehistoric influences, to an inside look at becoming a Zoo expert, to single day camps exploring art in nature, campers get to experience the best of the Zoo and the great outdoors! All summer camps feature educational tours, games, creative projects, close-up animal encounters, and more. Campers will be grouped by grade level and led through the Zoo in small groups by Zoo Guides.

Dino Camp (K – 6th) – Dig in to the prehistoric world and find out how it has influenced the world around us. Discover how animals living today compare to dinosaurs.

Zoo Explorers (K – 3rd) – Come explore the Dallas Zoo with us! From nutrition and veterinary care to enrichment and training, you’ll leave this camp a Dallas Zoo expert!

Keeper Camp (4th – 6th) – Learn what it takes to be a zoologist! Campers will discover what it takes to care for the 2,000+ animals that live at the Dallas Zoo and learn first-hand from our zoologists about the dynamics of animal husbandry and training.
