Join us for a special day dedicated to celebrating educators! Before the school year begins, we’re inviting teachers to the Dallas Zoo for an inspiring and fun-filled event. Connect with fellow educators, explore the Zoo, and discover how to bring conservation into your classroom. It’s our way of saying thank you — and helping you kick off the new school year with wild inspiration!

tickets & Parking:

  • Your first ticket is FREE when you reserve online! You will be asked to present your teacher badge/ID at check-in. Additional tickets can be purchased at our special summer admission price of $15.
  • Tickets: $15 | FREE for members
  • Parking: $12 | FREE for members

add-ons:

  • For $5 more, experience one of our TEKS-aligned, school field trip add-ons:

    10 a.m. Adaptations 2–4
    11 a.m. Food Webs 5–6
    12 p.m. Wildlife Careers 7–12

    Note: Each session includes 20 spots.

Good to know:

  • The first 250 teachers who check in and show their teacher badge/ID will receive a complimentary canvas tote bag! One bag per teacher.
  • The Herpetarium will be closed from 8–9 a.m.
