Dallas Zoo’s admission drops to $7 during Penguin Days
Jan 1, 2018

Presented by Highland Capital Management

DALLAS (Jan. 1, 2018) – The Dallas Zoo is ringing in the New Year with a cool deal this winter. From Jan. 3 to Feb. 28, guests can visit Texas’s oldest and largest zoo for just $7 per person during Penguin Days Presented by Highland Capital Management. (Children age 2 and younger and Dallas Zoo members are always free.)

Though the temperatures may be chilly, guests can beat the crowds, bundle up and take advantage of indoor learning areas like the Herpetarium, Bug U!, the Jake L. Hamon Gorilla Conservation Research Station, the Highland Hippo Hut and the Simmons Safari Base Camp.

“Highland Capital Management is proud to help make one of the nation’s top zoos more accessible to the North Texas community with discounted admission,” said Highland co-founder and president James Dondero. “Penguin Days is a unique program that allows families who might not otherwise visit the zoo to experience the incredible world of wildlife in an affordable way.”

After reaching its eighth consecutive year of record attendance in 2017 with more than 1.2 million visitors, the special Penguin Days pricing is the zoo’s way of thanking the community for its support throughout the year.
