Dallas Zoological Society Director of Membership

The Dallas Zoological Society is seeking a Director of Membership to lead one of the most vital membership programs in Dallas with a base of over 16,000 households and annual revenue in excess of $1.45 million. The ideal candidate will have five + years experience in a nonprofit membership department (two or more of those years in direct staff supervision) with in-depth knowledge of direct mail acquisition, renewal, and on-site membership sales programs and a proven track record of increasing membership revenue.  Duties include growing the membership base through aggressive renewal and acquisition campaigns, developing membership materials and benefits, managing events, and supervising staff.  Experience with customer call and service centers helpful.  Excellent organizational skills are required with a demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret information regarding the membership program.  Strong computer skills with familiarity and experience with database software (Raiser’s Edge preferred) is a must.  Strong marketing and communication skills are essential.  Interested candidates may send resumes including salary history and cover letter to:  Karen Hamilton, Senior Vice President, Dallas Zoological Society, 650 S. SEASONAL KITCHEN EMPLOYEE: COOKS & BUSSERS

Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and some evenings; able to lift 50 pounds; able to work in extreme temperatures, good people skills are a must. $8.00 to $10.00 per hour.

SEASONAL CASHIER/STAND ATTENDANT

Must able to work weekends, holidays, and some evenings; able to lift 50 pounds; able to work in outdoor temperatures, cleaning and stocking involved, good people skills are a must. $7.50 to $8.00 per hour.

SEASONAL RETAIL CASHIER/SALES ASSOCIATE

Must able to work weekends, holidays, and some evenings; able to lift 50 pounds; able to work in outdoor temperatures, cleaning and stocking involved, good people skills are a must. $7.50 to $8.00 per hour.
