Senior Accountant

Dallas Zoo Management, Inc., which operates the Dallas Zoo and The Dallas Aquarium at Fair Park, seeks a Senior Accountant.   This new position will perform time sensitive account and financial analysis, process journal entries, perform account reconciliations, and handle the month-end close process.  This position will also assist in the preparation and analysis of financial statements, perform budget variance analysis, and track fixed asset/inventory.  The position reports to the Director of Accounting.   At least five years of general ledger experience is required and demonstrated working knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles is strongly desired.  A bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent is required.
