MASTER PLUMBER
We have an exceptional career opportunity for a Master Plumber. The Master Plumber will be responsible for performing highly complex construction and maintenance work under limited supervision. Work involves scheduling contractors, requisitioning materials and supplies, estimating work hours and materials required for projects, and coordinating activities with other departments. Other duties include supervising contractors, inspecting work for code compliance with building codes in maintenance and construction of all plumbing work and participating in the repair of all maintenance and construction activities associated with The Dallas Zoo.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must have a high school diploma or GED.
  • Must have a minimum of three years experience as a plumber and current knowledge of maintenance and construction procedures.
  • Must have a current Master’s License.
  • Must be skilled to operate equipment and machinery related to job.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate and work with other staff, departments and the general public.
  • Must be able to walk, stand, sit, kneel, stoop, crawl, twist, reach above head, pull bend, climb stairs and ladders and carry up to 50lbs.
