Concert Series Includes Dallas Area Food Trucks – Saturday, October 6

The Dallas Zoo hosts its third Zoo Tunes Concert, produced in partnership with Kessler Entertainment Group, on Saturday, October 6.  Guests can enjoy live music, animal exhibits, food trucks, and much more.  The headlining band, which performs at 8 p.m., is FastLane, the Southwest’s premier Eagles tribute band.   Advance tickets are $15 for adults and $12 for children (ages 3-11) and day-of tickets are $20 for adults and $15 for children.  Members of the Dallas Zoo receive a discount.  Parking is $5 per vehicle and can be pre-purchased online.  Advance tickets are available through 5 p.m. on Friday, October 5.

The Dallas Zoo gates open at 5:30 p.m.  Prior to the band’s performance, a special presentation of SOAR, A Festival of Flight bird show will begin at 6:00 p.m.  Sections of ZooNorth will be open throughout the evening, including animal exhibits such as the new Koala Walkabout presented by Kimberly-Clark Corporation, Wings of Wonder, Primate Place, Herpetarium, and Bug U!          

The Zoo Tunes concert offers a free bounce house, $5 camel rides, $2 Endangered Species Carousel rides, and a night full of fantastic music for the whole family.  Lawn chairs, blankets, and coolers are permitted.  Festival food from Dallas area food trucks as well as beer and wine will be available for purchase; no outside alcohol will be allowed.
