HYATT REGENCY DALLAS ASSOCIATES VOLUNTEER WITH THE DALLAS ZOO

TO CELEBRATE HYATT’S 2ND ANNUAL GLOBAL VOLUNTEER INITIATIVE

 

 Giraffes Benefit from Hyatt Thrive Workday – June 28th  

WHAT:   The Dallas Zoo welcomes Hyatt Regency Dallas associates for a workday in support of Hyatt Thrive, Hyatt’s global responsibility platform.  Twenty-five volunteers from Hyatt will assist in moving substrate dirt into the giraffe holding yard and transfer lanes.  This behind-the-scenes project takes place in the areas of the barn where the animals are given access to the outdoors when they are brought off exhibit.

WHY:  This volunteer day is part of Hyatt’s global volunteer initiative, which brings Hyatt associates together in a brand-wide, month long effort to improve the many communities around the world that they call home.   This initiative directly supports Hyatt Thrive, which empowers over 90,000 Hyatt associates at more than 480 properties around the world to help communities do one thing – Thrive – by focusing on four areas: environmental sustainability; economic development and investment; education and personal advancement; and health and wellness.
