Ghostly Fun for Halloween Nights at the Dallas Zoo on October 25 – 28
Oct 8, 2012

Costumed children become our creatures of the night when they attend Halloween Nights at the Dallas Zoo. The Zoo caters to kids at this family-friendly party with sweet treats at 13 colorful candy stations sponsored by Imperial Sugar. The Zoo closes at 4 p.m. and then Zoohilda and her band of wacky witches reopen the gates at 5 p.m. on October 25, 26, 27, and 28. Admission for the evening is $10 per person for everyone age 3 and older, which includes most entertainment and six coupons to use at the candy stations.

Die laughing at the Monster Mash show, presented my Children’s Medical Center. Your eyes will play tricks on you at the magic show in the Lacerte Family Children’s Zoo. The world spins in reverse when you ride the Haunted Carousel. And don’t get so wound up in the puppet show that you forget to visit the creepy, crawly critters in the Herpetarium and Bug U! Take a lumpy, bumpy ride on the camels, offer a nectar brew to the lorikeets, and see if the koalas carry secrets from Down Under.

Things get wild at a special Animal Adventures show. The feathered, furry, and scaly stars of the show have been rehearsing their parts and are ready to take the stage with a few of our staff playing supporting roles. After the show, go roast some s’mores before ending the evening.

In addition, the Zoo will be filled with stilt walkers, sky ghosts, and other costumed characters. Snap a picture of the kids at our Pumpkin Patch photo display for the Halloween scrapbook. Bring your smart phone for some special tweets and games from @DallasZoo.
