Dallas Zoo offers discounted $7 admission for Penguin Days
Nov 30, 2016

The Dallas Zoo’s annual winter gift of discounted admission is here! Starting Dec. 1 through the end of February, the admission price drops just in time for the holiday season and cooler weather. For the second year in a row, the zoo is starting its Penguin Days pricing a month early, in December. Until Feb. 28, Dallas Zoo guests can visit the African penguins (and all the other 2,000+ residents) for just $7 per person. (Children age 2 and younger and Dallas Zoo members are always free.) Winter hours are from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily.

The Dallas Zoo welcomes more than 1 million visitors every year, and Penguin Days special pricing is the zoo’s way of thanking the community for its support throughout the year. Even if it’s chilly, the lower admission offers guests a chance to enjoy the warmth of the nation’s most venomous Herpetarium, the creepy-crawlies of Bug U!, facts about great apes at the Jake L. Hamon Gorilla Conservation Research Station, and to hear the trumpeting of an elephant in the Simmons Safari Base Camp at the Giants of the Savanna.
