New Exhibits & Facilities :: Education Complex

Education Complex

The Dallas Zoo is considered a leading resource for science education for area public and private schools, homeschool parents, and community partners.  The Zoo’s camp program has grown by leaps and bounds, serving over 1,000 campers during the summer of 2011 alone!  The boundless educational opportunities at the Zoo are limited only by available venues, which has led Zoo officials to recognize the need for new facility to house the myriad of classes, workshops, camps, and other educational activities the Zoo offers.  This innovative complex will feature many unique learning opportunities for kids of all ages.  In addition, the Zoo plans to develop a building that will receive LEED certification for environmental responsibility, thus highlighting to all guests the importance of stewardship for our environment.

Support from individuals, corporations, and foundations is critical to the success of achieving our goals for the new education complex  To learn more about the plans for this facility or the Dallas Zoological Society’s capital campaign and how you can help secure a bright future for the Dallas Zoo, please contact the Dallas Zoological Society Development Department at 469.554.7400 or development@DallasZoo.com.
