New Exhibits & Facilities
In recent years, the Dallas Zoo has begun a major program of new and renovated exhibits and facilities, including the additions of the 11-acre Giants of the Savanna (May 2010), the Wildlife Amphitheater (April 2011), and Koala Walkabout (March 2012). With these new additions, the Zoo has seen surges in both attendance and community support. However, Zoo officials realize that we must continue to grow and evolve to cement our status as one of the leading zoos in the country. To that end, several major projects are in the development stages for the near future, including a state-of-the-art education center and other capital projects.
Support from individuals, corporations, and foundations is critical to the success of building the Dallas Zoo’s future.
