Running for Rhinos

The second annual Running for Rhinos 5K and Fun Run is scheduled for Saturday, November 10, 2012 at the Dallas Zoo.

The 5K race starts at the Zoo entrance at 8:15 a.m. and the route travels along roads around the Zoo perimeter and concludes at Cat Green in ZooNorth.

The family fun run begins at 8:00 a.m. and the course remains inside the Zoo.

Family, friends, and spectators will celebrate at the end of the race with a party, awards ceremony, and animal presentation as well as drawings for door prizes.

Participants who pre-register by November 4 can pick up their packets at Luke’s Locker at Mockingbird and Highway 75 on November 6-8 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Walk-up registration and packet pick up the day of the race begins at 7 a.m. at the Zoo entrance.
