The Zoo Unto Others employee volunteer team at the Dallas Zoo is sponsoring the “Shed Your Winter Coat” coat drive to benefit clients of The Stewpot.
The coat drive takes place on Saturday, December 1, and Sunday, December 2 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Donate a new or gently used coat, blanket, or sleeping bag December 1 or 2 and receive FREE admission to the Dallas Zoo on that day that day for each item donated.

You are invited to apply to become one of only 200 fine art/fine craft artists who will be selected to participate in the inaugural Paw Prints Art Show at the Dallas Zoo.
This juried event will take place Saturday and Sunday, May 11 and 12, 2013.
This annual May event is committed to deliverying a quality experience for both artists and Zoo patrons. On average, the Dallas Zoo welcomes over 10,000 guests on May weekends and offers the perfect backdrop for art of all mediums.

Get everyone out of the house before Turkey Day when the Dallas Zoo offers $1 admission all day. Look for dollar deals on food at select locations. Take the DART Red Line to avoid traffic and start your Zoo adventure sooner.

You don’t have to travel around the world to photograph wildlife in natural settings. Take a guided tour with the Zoo’s staff photographer Cathy Burkey as she leads participants to animal habitats that offer the best opportunities for photographers. Zookeepers will be on hand to help encourage the animals to be in the best possible locations for photography. Photo Safaris are limited to 15 participants and pre-registration is required.
