Savanna Wildlife Weekend

Join us for a weekend of inspiration, fun, and action as we celebrate animals of the grasslands, savannas, and prairies, including our own Blackland Prairie – the most endangered ecosystem in North America. We’ll have family-friendly activities throughout the Zoo teaching about grassland animals and the challenges they face in the wild. Learn about the Dallas Zoo’s work to help save animals from extinction, and pledge your support to engage in behaviors that help protect animals both locally and globally.

DOLLAR DAY

Join us Wednesday, Nov. 25, for our annual fall Dollar Day, featuring $1 admission and dollar deals. It’s the best way to get out-of-towners out of the house, or burn calories in our 106-acre zoological park before your Thanksgiving feast. Dollar Day is the Zoo’s way of showing its appreciation to the community for support throughout the year. To show our appreciation, we're opening the Zoo to members and their guests at 8 a.m. every Saturday in November. Join us bright and early to see how the animals in the Wilds of Africa start their days! Each Saturday, you and your guests will receive a limited-edition poster featuring one of our favorite animals. Plus, both the Prime Meridian and the Zoofari Market will be doubling your membership discount to 20% from 9-11 a.m.!

Gather with the Dallas Zoo, your friends and family to take action for animals, Saturday, Dec. 5 along the banks of the Trinity River Elm Fork. We will work together to remove litter pollution, restore animal habitat, and make a difference for urban wildlife in our city. Shed Your Winter Coat Drive

Join us in supporting our annual Shed Your Winter Coat Drive by donating coats, jackets, sleeping bags or blankets that will benefit The Stewpot, an organization that responds to the unmet and emerging needs of the homeless and at-risk of Dallas. For each item brought one individual admission ticket will be awarded for that day’s admission.
