Please note the following changes or closures as we prepare for our 2016 Zoo To Do fundraising gala. The Wilds of Africa Ndebele Plaza will be closed. The Wilds of Africa Adventure Safari monorail will be open, but guests will need to detour through the Gorilla Trail to reach the monorail station. Please note the following changes or closures as we prepare for our 2016 Zoo To Do fundraising gala. Giants of the Savanna will be closed. Wilds of Africa will be closed. The Wilds of Africa Adventure Safari monorail will be closed. Due to the closures, admission to the Zoo will be reduced to $5. We appreciate your patience and support as we prepare for our largest fundraising event of the year.

As sunlight starts to fade sooner and the weather gets cooler, animals at the Dallas Zoo are taking the cue to head inside their night quarters a little earlier. Therefore, the Zoo will implement its winter hour schedule and close at 4 p.m. beginning Oct. 1.
