Field Trips
Plan your field trip to the Dallas Zoo today! With over 106 acres to explore including our newest and largest exhibit, The Giants of the Savanna, the Dallas Zoo is the largest zoological experience in Texas! School groups, licensed daycares, and scout groups can
pre-register for self-guided field trips at a discounted admission rate. Groups must pre-register at least two weeks in advance of their scheduled date to qualify. The Dallas Zoo is closed on Christmas Day, but accepts registrations for all other dates.
Cost: $5.00/student, $5.00/adult (teachers or chaperones), 1 free adult/10 students. School bus parking is free. Vans, charter buses, and vehicles are $8.00/each.
Additional Field Trip Experiences. Add one or more of the following:
Monorail Safari Tour – a 25 minute narrated tour through six African habitats. One adult per 7 students required. Cost is $3.00/person.
