What do Spiderman’s web, Ironman’s armor and Batman’s smarts have in common with animals?   Spend your Spring Break at the Dallas Zoo and find out!  PreK through 5th grade campers will have a blast learning about “Nature’s Superheroes”.  Each single day camp is jam-packed with exciting and educational Zoo tours, arts and crafts, games, and up-close animal encounters!  You won’t want to miss a thing.   Register for as many days as you’d like – multiple day discounts are available!

Enrollment is based on current grade level.  
Campers will be divided into grade level classes (PreK / K-1st / 2nd-3rd / 4th-5th)
Limited walk-up registration may be available for camps not sold out.

Animal Superpowers – Monday, March 10

Just like comic-book superheroes, animals have really cool superpowers!  Investigate how adaptations such as night vision, extreme senses, super strength and crazy camouflage help animals survive in the wild and save the day!  Online registration closes March 6 for this camp. Survival Squadron – Tuesday, March 11

Danger lurks throughout the animal kingdom.  Explore how animals use specialized traits and behaviors to outsmart and outmaneuver enemies.   Campers will use their own super senses to explore survival strategies in this eat-or-be-eaten world!  Online registration closes March 9 for this camp. Rainforest Metropolis – Wednesday, March 12

From the small, but mighty leafcutter ant to the powerful harpy eagle, explore the inner workings high up in the canopy and down to the forest floor in one of nature’s most fascinating biomes!  Spend a fun-filled day investigating how its remarkable characters are well-adapted to live in this bustling real-life metropolis.  Online registration closes March 10 for this camp. Villains Unmasked – Thursday, March 13

KA-POW!!  What happens when “villains” are knocked out of an ecosystem?  Uncover the true story behind some of the most ferocious and feared animals and how these misunderstood villains are really superheroes in disguise.  Online registration closes March 11 for this camp. Planet Defenders – Friday, March 14

Did you know that zoos play an important role in nature and wildlife conservation?   Meet real-life superheroes at the Dallas Zoo and learn what they are doing to protect some of the most endangered species in the world, including cheetahs, gorillas, and the Texas horned lizard.  Become a planet defender and make a difference!  Online registration closes March 12 for this camp. Toilet Training

All camp participants must be completely toilet trained (requiring no assistance in the bathroom).  Our definition of toilet trained means that the child is not wearing pull-ups and is able to manage his/her own clothing by him/herself. 

Cancellation and Refund Policy

Program enrollment at the Dallas Zoo and/or Children’s Aquarium at Fair Park is a non-refundable final sale except in the event that we cancel your program at which time a full refund will be issued and individuals will be contacted directly. If you cancel a program with the Dallas Zoo or Children’s Aquarium at Fair Park, a program credit may be issued based on circumstance. The credit may be used for any education program or camp at the Dallas Zoo.  Credit will not be issued for cancellations made within twenty-four (24) hours of your scheduled enrollment.


In the event your camp is full by the time you complete the online registration, your camper will automatically be placed on the waitlist for the sold out camp(s). If a spot becomes available, you will be contacted by Dallas Zoo Education staff and payment will be processed at that time.  Please note that your receipt will indicate that the camper is waitlisted.   



The Dallas Zoo and Children’s Aquarium at Fair Park is licensed by the Texas Department of State Health Services.
