BADGE IN A DAY PROGRAMS

Looking for a roarin’ cool way to earn a badge? Bring your scout troop to the Dallas Zoo and earn one of many badges! Dates and topics are offered on-demand. Badge programs are 3 hours unless noted otherwise. Your scouts will work with our Zoo educators to earn their badge, and gain special insight to the animals at the Dallas Zoo!

Cost: $120 for 1-8 scouts. Additional scouts are $15 each (max of 25 scouts; max of 18 for Water Badge at CAFP). Cost includes admission and parking to the Dallas Zoo or Children’s Aquarium for each chaperone and scout at a 1:4 ratio. Additional chaperones must pay regular admission and parking costs. Non-scout children are not allowed in our badge workshops. Zoo membership does not apply to any education program.

Reservations are made by submitting a completed registration form, with payment, at least two (2) weeks in advance. Include three (3) date choices in the event your first choice is not available.

Boy Scouts	Mammal Study, Insect Study, Geology, Nature Study (5 hrs)

Please note: If you need to adjust the number of participants or reschedule, contact the Education Department at least two weeks before your scheduled program. All changes must be made no later than two weeks before your program. The Dallas Zoo and Children’s Aquarium at Fair Park reserves the right to cancel any program for reasons we deem appropriate. Programs that have not met the minimum number of participants within two weeks of the scheduled program date may be cancelled. In the event that we cancel your program, a full refund will be issued and individuals will be contacted directly. If you cancel a program with the Dallas Zoo or Children’s Aquarium at Fair Park, a program credit may be issued based on circumstance. No credits or refunds will be issued for cancellations made within two weeks of your scheduled program, for any amount under $20, or for no-show groups.
