Q. How do I join?
Just choose the method that works best for you.

Q. Is membership based on the calendar year?
Your membership is valid for one year from the date of purchase, so you receive a full 12 months of Zoo fun!

Q. When will I receive my membership card?
Your membership card will be mailed within 14 days. If you do not receive your card by then, please contact us at or call 469.554.7400.

Q. How many membership cards will I receive?
Individual-Plus members receive one card. All memberships at the Family and above levels automatically receive two cards with both adult names on the cards.

Q. What if my membership card is lost or stolen?
Order a replacement membership card by visiting the Member Services booth, emailing, or calling 469.554.7400. There is a $5 fee for replacement cards.

Q. Can I purchase a membership on the day I want to visit the Zoo?
You can purchase a membership at the Member Services booth located at the front entrance and use your admission privileges that same day.

Q. Is it necessary to display the Zoo decal on my car to receive free Zoo parking?
No. Your membership card is what allows you to receive your free parking benefit. Simply show your current card with photo identification to the parking attendant as you enter the parking lot.

Q. Can a friend or family member use my membership card?
No. Memberships are nontransferable and are valid only for the person (or persons) whose name(s) appears on the card. You will be asked for your membership card and photo identification when entering the Zoo.

Q. Is my membership payment tax-deductible?
Yes, deductible amounts can be found under the membership levels.

Q. Is my Dallas Zoo membership good at other zoos and aquariums?
Yes! Download the list of 150 zoos and aquariums offering discounted or free admission to Dallas Zoo members.

Q. I recently renewed my membership. Why did I receive another renewal notice?
Although we work to process renewals as quickly as possible, there is a chance that you may receive a second notice before your payment has been processed and entered into our system. If you have renewed your membership, please disregard further renewal notices. If you have any questions regarding your renewal, please email or call 469.554.7400.
