White-Faced Saki Monkey

SCIENTIFIC NAME:
Pithecia pithecia
PROFILE:

In the wild, the white-faced saki monkey is sometimes called the “flying monkey” as they are known for taking large leaps through the trees in the rain forests that they call home. Like the titi monkeys with which they live, the pale faced sakis can sometimes be hard to find as they camouflage well with the trees in their habitat. Look for movement and look up!
