PROFILE:

The Thomson gazelle is able to run up to 50 mph. They’re known for their unique way of moving, which is a combination of running and jumping. They’re are about the size of a medium-sized dog and are often called “tommies.”

Female Thomson gazelle and their offspring wander in groups of five to 50 throughout male-established territories. Males live alone or form smaller groups.
