PROFILE:

Ring-tailed lemurs are diurnal (active during the day) and love to sunbathe. You might see these lemurs sitting on the ground, facing the sun with their arms stretched out in the sun worshipper pose. Unlike other lemur species, ring-tails like to spend most of their time on the ground. Take a walk through ZooNorth and look for the fossa; these carnivores are one of the main predators of lemurs on Madagascar!
