Be sure to swing into Travis & Zach’s Bird Landing to observe our guira cuckoos. You may notice that their feathers are somewhat sparse on their backs; don’t be alarmed! Guira cuckoos will often sun themselves to get warm, and the lack of feathers aids this process. Our female guira cuckoos will often join together to build a community nest.
