For the first time ever, Dallas Zoo offers a Dollar Day DO-OVER

A mulligan. A do-over. A reprise. A redux. An encore. Whatever you want to call it, for the first time ever, the Dallas Zoo is offering a second summer Dollar Day. While more than 12,000 guests braved unusual, heavy rainstorms to attend the July Dollar Day, many more couldn’t make it.



IRRIGATOR

Responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing any and all irrigation systems, misting systems, DCA’s & RPZ’s. Supervises and coordinates work with the Irrigation Technician.



Second-graders pitch new animals to our team

It’s not every day we have a group of 8-year-olds pitching our experts on what animals they think our zoo should have. That’s exactly what Lesa Haney’s second-grade Polser Elementary class did, with enthusiasm, confidence, and a whole lot of research.



Dallas Zoo, Children’s Medical Center join to entertain, educate patients

The Dallas Zoo and Children’s Medical Center have developed a new opportunity to work together which will bring live animal presentations, educational programming and zoo outings to patients and families at the nation’s seventh-largest pediatric hospital.



Park Services Assistant Manager (Dallas Zoo)

The purpose of the Park Service Assistant Manager is to ensure that the Park Service Department provides every guest a clean facility to visit, the entire animal staff has bedding/waste delivered/removed, all events are setup in a timely and efficient manner, and all offices are cleaned. Also, this position will participate in the Zoo and SSA Green Team meetings and functions.
